The Greater Omaha Oncology Social Workers Association (GOOSWA) connects oncology social workers and social workers throughout the healthcare field in the Greater Omaha area.
Founded in 1987, GOOSWA was established to foster communication, professional growth, and mutual support among oncology social workers and social workers in the healthcare field. For nearly four decades, the organization has remained committed to strengthening professional connections.
To establish lines of communication among professional peers while enhancing professional growth and providing mutual support.
GOOSWA is dedicated to creating meaningful connections among oncology social workers and healthcare social workers. Through networking, education, collaboration, and shared resources, we strive to strengthen the professional community that supports individuals and families navigating cancer.

GOOSWA brings oncology social workers and allied professionals together across the Greater Omaha area to encourage professional development, networking, collaboration, and resource sharing.
The organization also helps make it easier for patients and families to discover the kinds of psychosocial and practical support oncology social workers connect them with.
Meet the volunteers who help guide GOOSWA and strengthen connections among oncology social workers and healthcare social workers throughout Greater Omaha.
